Summary: The Cultivation Team Member position is responsible for assigned cultivation tasks including tending and overseeing each plant and will be cross-trained for multiple duties.

Responsibilities:

• Supports Cultivation Team Lead and the Cultivation Manager in timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Performs all the tasks in the cultivation, including plant scouting, tending, transplanting, feeding, defoliation, topping, flushing, inventory management, and waste management.
• Oversees medical marijuana plants, giving each the specialized attention it needs.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Possesses working knowledge of soils and hydroponic growing methods as well as understanding temperature and humidity manipulation.
• Maintains knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, and adheres to company’s Integrated Pest Management (IPM) protocols.
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of medical marijuana strains: Sativa, Indica, and Hybrids.
• Assists in regular inventory and quality assurance audits.
• Complies with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
• Other duties as assigned.

Employment Standards:

• Education – High school diploma required. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Botany, Horticulture, Agriculture, or related fields is a plus.
• Experience – Experience growing medical cannabis outdoors or in a controlled environment or a greenhouse. Familiar with growing in several mediums such as coco or hydro, and experience in cloning. Preventive knowledge of molds, mildews insects, and other pathogens.
