*Positions available in Eastern Washington and Hood River, Oregon.*

The rep is responsible for providing advice to pear, apple and cherry clients regarding their agriculture activities, specifically around crop production, in order to have the business run more efficiently.

• Meeting with and visiting growers to review and collect data regarding their farm and business requirements.
• Procure fruit from qualified growers to fill the packing and marketing plans at the warehouse.
• Build good working relationships with existing and potential new growers and customers.
• Assist growers throughout the growing season with cultural practice to help maximize growing the highest quality fruit for marketing.
• Produce accurate crop estimates to assist the packing and sales branches of the packing operation.
• Promote Stadelman Fruit LLC as a packing partner who will strive to maximize returns back to the grower.

Experience, Education, and Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Experience with Global GAP and USDA records and procedures.
• Experience with Organic records and procedures as needed.
• Valid Driver’s License

• Must maintain a good attitude and be professional daily.
• Basic computer skills.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
• Mechanically inclined a plus.
• Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred.
• Must work well with others as well as work independently.
• Must be self-motivating, innovative, and provide technical expertise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, loud, and labor-intensive environment in variable temperatures (from outdoor heat to indoor refrigerated coolers).
• Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
