We’re currently seeking a responsible and accountable professional to join our team in SAN LEANDRO, CA.
Maintain a high profile and be a visible deterrent while positioned at each post to ensure the safety of all staff, clients, visitors, and assets of Harborside. Complete all duties with the goal of ensuring that Harborside is the industry standard in facility function and presentation. Provide exceptional service in all interactions. DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (This may not include all duties assigned.)
? Provide excellent service and exceptional interactions with all visitors, customers and staff to achieve Harborside standards.
? Utilize effective communication skills and demonstrate a sense of urgency to ensure that all phases of the customer experience remain seamless and exceed their expectations.
? Ensure that all customer identification is properly scanned prior to entry into Harborside.
? Verify identification and other credentials of visitors, and customers prior to allowing entry to Harborside. Conduct routine foot patrols of the Harborside parking lot, and property to insure compliance with parking instructions and rules of conduct.
? Accurately and effectively communicate with other staff members using a handheld two-way radio of any condition or event that may pose a safety or security concern.
? Monitor CCTV surveillance equipment for potential threats and suspicious activity.
? Resolve customer issues and de-escalate, as appropriate.
? Protect dispensary customers, visitors, staff and dispensary assets from harm and/or theft.
? Assist Curbside Team via radio by announcing arriving Curbside customers on radio channel 8.
? Maintain a positive, caring attitude and treat customers/co-workers with respect and sensitivity
? Perform opening and closing duties.
? Listen and respond to customer and coworker needs/requests appropriately and timely.
? Maintain neatness, cleanliness, and organization of the department.
? Maintains discretionary practices with all vendors, voucher and contractor information, tactful with all sensitive business information.
? Follow and integrate Harborside policies and procedures into all on-the-job interactions, tasks and behaviors.
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
? Complete incident reports accurately and timely.
? Assist and escort customers with special needs as required or requested, including assistance in and out of vehicles where appropriate.
? Assist to maintain and ensure departmental equipment is functioning and in good working order.
? Attend required meetings and participate in team and professional development activities.
? Fill in when short-staffed.
? Assist with Facilities duties when necessary.
? Provide timely and appropriate feedback to Supervisor.
? Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
? Requires prolonged standing and some bending, stooping and stretching.
? Ability to operate a computer, POS system and other office equipment.
? Moving up to 50 pounds on occasion.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS :
? Work will generally be performed both inside and outside a busy cannabis dispensary.
? Work is subject to weather conditions, including rain and extremely hot or cold temperatures at times.
? Involves frequent contact with vendors, customers and staff.
? Will require working varied hours/day, including nights weekends, holidays, and/or events, on occasion.
? May include working an alternative work week.
? Experience in security, law enforcement or other related field (prefer 2+ years).
? 1+ years customer service experience.
? HS diploma, GED or equivalent.
? 21+ years old and pass a criminal background check
? Experience working in the cannabis and/or health industry highly desirable.
? Guard card/certification a plus!
